We built a booking tool specifically for saunas. The result is pretty darn cool; SaunaMap Booking (SMB)
As a host, all you have to do is set up your host account with SaunaMap Booking (SMB). The tool is built to make booking, payment and scheduling as simple and streamlined as possible for both the host and the guest.
Saunas are unique items to book. Standard booking platforms do not have all of the options needed to suite sauna bookings. SMI Parameters include; time slot booking, full day booking, shared sauna vs exclusive booking, mobile variable addresses, buffer between sessions, maximum sessions a day, and more. Our system takes the parameters you choose and shows the guests only the available time slots and details that meet all of your requirements.
We use Stripe to manage payments. You link your bank account natively on SaunaMap through their secure process, and guests pay SaunaMap as a middle party to the transaction. We release payment once the booking session has completed.
We have a simple embed app that you can put directly on your website so you can manage bookings through your own channel. You can match your branding by changing it's color, font and more. This gives your website booking guests an integrated feel and works with all of the other SMB features.
If you have conflicts on your google calendar, SMB will automatically block out those conflicts so guests can not book during that time. Confirmed bookings get pushed over to your google calendar as well so you can easily see upcoming bookings.
If you want to maintain booking through another platform (Acuity or similar), you can easily use a google calendar as a bridge so that there are not duplicate bookings from both booking platforms.
As a host, you get paid the full amount for bookings. We charge a small processing fee of 4% (to cover Stripe payment processing fee) and 4.8% to cover SaunaMap platform fee to the guest at checkout. If the Guest pays $30.00 for a session, their total at check out will be $32.64 (not including tax).
Increase your guest visibility and booking through SaunaMap platform. Guests can search for available dates and locations and your sauna will show up. Direct booking means guests can click book directly on your listing, reducing friction and increasing conversions.
Booking on SaunaMap.com with SaunaMap Booking gives the guest and host a seamless booking process. The video to the right is an example of the request-to-book booking process.
We built the most powerful sauna booking tool for you to use on your website as well; the SaunaMap Application. On your saunamap.com host dashboard, you can set all of your availability rules, booking details and you can customize the appearance of the Application to match your brand.
Then you can simply place the Applicaiton on your Wix, Shopify, Webflow, Squarespace or any other website. The Application is secure and can be managed from your SaunaMap host dashboard.
